Membership Details
Memberships will only be sold to persons 18 years of age or older. Membership in the Association entitles member to:
- Access to ranges as detailed in the 3 different tiers (Full, Archery, Conservation)
- Participate in all club activities.
- The member whose name appears on the membership, including spouse and children under 18 years, are protected by public liability and property damage.
Reasons for this fee structure is to cover operating expenses, range improvements and insurance.
Membership Term: Please note that the yearly membership term is for the CALENDAR YEAR and not from when membership was purchased.
New for 2025 – Membership Tiers
A tiered membership is being introduced this year to better accommodate different interests within our Association’s objectives and facilities. For those who do not require the use of the firearms range, you can opt for the new ‘Archery’ and ‘Conservation’ memberships. Details are as follows:
2025 Full Membership
Individual: $140
Family: $180
RENAMING OF THE TRADITIONAL EFGA MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE.
- Allows all firearms and archery range access, including the winter archery indoor range. Equivalent to past years standard EFGA yearly membership.
- Includes all privileges included in the ‘Archery’ and ‘Conservation’ tiers
- Welcome at all club events
- Includes insurance
2025 Archery Membership
Individual: $78
Family: $104
NEW TIER FOR ARCHERS
- Allows all archery range access, both the outdoor and winter indoor range
- Does NOT include firearms range access
Welcome at all club events - Includes insurance
2025 Conservation Membership
Individual: $68
Family: $84
NEW TIER FOR CONSERVATION
- Participate and help shape issues related to our various conservation and wildlife initiatives
- Does NOT include firearms or archery range access nor voting rights pertaining to the range facilities
- Welcome at all club events

Additional Tier Details
- Family is up to two adults and two minor children under the guardianship of the adults. Additional children under the guardianship of the same two adults can be added for $22 each.
- Memberships are valid for the calendar year, and NOT from date of purchase.
- Note that online sales contain a service charge to cover all related fees (about 3%).
2025 Lifetime Membership
Individual: $1550
PROVIDES FULL BENEFITS AND ACCESS TO ALL RANGES.
Features and benfits remain unchanges from years past:
- Full Range Access
- Nominal Insurance to be billed Annually ($25/year subject to premium hikes)
- Can Add Spouse & Minor Child ($25/year/ea subject to premium hikes)
- Access to all club events

Local and Affiliate Members
Each EFGA member shall be defined as either a ‘Local Member’ or ‘Affiliate Member’. Local members reside in Edson and the Yellowhead County area; affiliate members reside outside of the aforementioned districts.
The distinction is made to reflect a member’s voting rights as detailed in our bylaws (please see Article IV (a) for full details on voting rights).
Regardless of membership level, all members enjoy full access to range facilities and are welcome at club events. All member’s contributions are respected and welcome.
Online Membership Purchase Details and Procedure

3. Membership Term: Please note that the membership term is for the CALENDAR YEAR and not from when membership was purchased.
4. Voting Rights: As per our bylaws, voting rights are limited to local residents (Edson and Yellowhead County) only. Out-of-town members are welcome and are entitled to participate in all club activities and access to all facilities. Edson and Yellowhead County residents are known as ‘Local Members’; outside of the Edson and Yellowhead County areas are known as ‘Affiliate Members’.
5. Online Payment: The PayPal gateway is used to process credit card and debit card transactions. Note that a PayPal account is NOT required to finalize a purchase. A direct deposit (EMT/EFT) option is also available during the checkout proess.
6. All Memberships purchased are final:
EFGA membershipsare non-refundable and non-transferable.
7. Upon a successful transaction, you will be emailed an order confirmation: As memberships are manually processed, please allow 2 – 3 business days for processing. Once completed, you will receivce your membership package via email. This includes your printable membership card, range rules, and map.
If you need a lanyard (required), you’re welcome to pick one up at any EFGA meeting or from our participating retailers.
8. Please keep your PayPal receipt with your membership: This is your receipt of payment. You may be asked for the receipt for verification while at the range.
